About the Role

This is a true 50/50 hybrid role designed for a versatile engineer who thrives at the intersection of feature delivery and platform engineering. You will anchor the backend development using theMicrosoft stack while simultaneously architecting the automation frameworks that power our continuous delivery ecosystem. This role requires a professional who loves writing robust product code just as much as optimizing cloud environments and deployment pipelines.

This role is critical to maximizing team velocity and bridging the gap between engineering and operations. Operating within an experienced, cross-functional Scrum POD, you will own the automation of builds, deployments, and testing infrastructure, directly ensuring the reliable, scalable release of enterprise-grade features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Build high-quality, scalable product features usingC#,.NET, andASP.NET WebAPI, while contributing toNode.js backend services.

• Own and Optimize automated CI/CD pipelines leveragingTeamCity andOctopus Deploy to ensure seamless, repeatable deployments.

• Lead automation and environment provisioning initiatives by writing advancedPowerShell scripts and infrastructure orchestration patterns.

• Collaborate with software architects and engineers to design application telemetry, logging strategies, and enterprise messaging systems viaAzure Service Bus.

• Maintain repository strategies, branch policies, and dependency management usingGit andNuGet, while integrating test-coverage reporting (dotCover,ReSharper) into the delivery pipeline.

• Anchor Scrum practices by actively participating in grooming, sizing, and breaking down complex infrastructure or product tasks into thin slices of deliverable work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dual experience operating effectively as both aSoftware Developer and aDevOps/Build Engineer.

• Deep expertise in backend development utilizingC#,.NET, andMS SQL Server.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks withTeamCity,Octopus Deploy, andPowerShell.

• Direct experience supporting multi-tier cloud architectures, specifically working withAzure Service Bus or similar messaging queues.

• Strong familiarity with data layers including relational database management systems and NoSQL solutions likeMongoDB.

• Ownership mindset with a team-first attitude, willing to unblock environments or jump into product bug fixes to hit the Sprint Goal.

• Advanced English (written and spoken) with excellent technical communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to front-end development modern ecosystems (e.g.,React orAngular).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such asTerraform orARM templates in Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization tools likeDocker andKubernetes for enterprise services.

• Certification in Agile methodologies or Microsoft Azure DevOps.
