Reticulation Technician

Do you enjoy working outdoors, using practical skills, and knowing the work you do directly benefits your community? We’re looking for aReticulation Technician to join our team and help keep our rural water network running smoothly and safely.

The purpose of the role
This is a hands-on, field-based position where no two days are the same. As a Reticulation Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring reliable water services by:

• 
  Completingannual tank and restrictor inspections
• Carrying outurban and rural water meter readings that keep our billing accurate and up to date
• Inspecting and servicingpressure reducing valves (PRVs) to keep our systems safe and efficient
• Always working in anenvironmentally safe and hygienic manner

What we’re looking for:

We need someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys solving problems on the go.

• Previous experience/qualifications in water services, utilities, or a trade is a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Detail-oriented with good record-keeping skills
• A strong communicator who can work independently but is also a team player
• Someone with a full driver licence (essential) and a commitment to safe work practices
