Student Library Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our community library team for 3 hours per week after school.

About the role

The successful applicant will help with:

• Welcoming library visitors
• Shelving and organising books
• Keeping the library tidy and welcoming
• Supporting simple library activities and events
• Other general library tasks as required

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
• Reliable, responsible and organised
• Interested in books, reading and the local community
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
