POSITION SUMMARY
The Rural Clinic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations and managing both Clinic staff and Clinic providers to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This role includes creating staff and provider schedules, optimizing workflow, and coordinating clinical and administrative activities. The Coordinator participates in the annual review and development of clinic policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and hospital standards. Serving as a liaison between staff, providers, and hospital leadership, the Coordinator keeps all parties informed of progress, issues, and operational priorities. Key responsibilities also include managing patient flow for optimal throughput, preparing reports for hospital departments such as Finance, QAPI, and Human Resource.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School education/GED or equivalent working knowledge.Β Minimum of three years of Management/supervisor experience in related field.
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPPA and ACHC standards and regulations. Understanding of regulatory guidelines for Rural Health Clinics.
Basic computer knowledge.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
