First Officer to M/S Eckerö Link

Eckerö Group has recently expanded its fleet with a new vessel,M/S Eckerö Link (formerlyNautica). The vessel is scheduled to enter service inSeptember/October 2026.

We are currently seeking aFirst Officer to join us onM/S Eckerö Link. This is apermanent position starting immediately or as agreed.

M/S Eckerö Link sails under theSwedish flag and operates daily betweenLångnäs(Åland) andNaantali(Finland). The work rotation follows a2:3 schedule.

The official working and safety language onboard isEnglish, while skills inFinnishand Swedish are considered an advantage.

About the Role

The First Officer is responsible for safe navigation and watchkeeping, as well as supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Duties include monitoring safety and bridge equipment, assisting with deck and cargo operations, and following established safety procedures.

Requirements:

• A validDeck Officer Certificate (STCW II/1) - Highercertificationsareconsideredan advantage.
