We are looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our team asReablement Care Assistants. This role is about much more than providing support ā itās about helping peoplerebuild confidence, regain daily skills, and restore independence in their own homes.
Every visit makes a difference: from enabling someone to cook a meal again, to supporting them back on their feet after hospital discharge. If you want to see thedirect results of your care and celebrate small but powerful milestones with clients, this role is for you.
š Locations ā East Hertfordshire and surrounding villages
Including (but not limited to):
- Bishopās Stortford
- Sawbridgeworth
- Stevenage
š· Pay Rates ā Per Shift
We believe great work deserves great pay.
- Ā£14.20 per hour ā Monday to Friday
- Ā£16.00 per hour ā Saturday & Sunday
āØGuaranteed hours available for the right candidates ā giving you the security of regular work.
ā° Shifts ā 7 days a week
- Day: 06:00/07:00 ā 14:00
- Evening: 14:00 ā 22:00/23:00
š Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle (essential for travel between clients)
š What Youāll Be Doing
As a Reablement Care Assistant, youāll provide essential support that truly changes lives, including:
š¤Companionship ā conversations, activities, outings
šMedication Management ā collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration
š²Nutrition & Mealtimes ā preparing nutritious meals, considering dietary needs
š”Housekeeping ā light cleaning, laundry, tidying
š¶Mobility Assistance ā transfers, walking support, use of aids
šHealth Monitoring ā observing and reporting changes in condition
šSocial Inclusion ā helping maintain community and family connections
š¬Emotional Support ā empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear
šDocumentation ā accurate record keeping
š”ļøSafety & Emergency Response ā creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed
š¤Collaboration ā working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families
𦸠What Youāll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!)
Hold onto your hats ā ideally, youāll have at least6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders!
But hereās the truth: what matters most to us is yourheart of gold and your ability to sprinkle kindness wherever you go. Youāll need to be as resilient as a rubber band and as eager to learn as a curious kitten. Donāt worry ā weāll help youlevel up your skills and knowledge as part of our close-knit (and delightfully quirky) team.
