The Role
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind Social Worker, you will:

• • Virtual counseling sessions: Provide one-on-one or group support to students via video calls.
  • Crisis intervention: Respond remotely to urgent student mental health or safety concerns.
  • Family communication: Connect with parents/guardians on student needs and resources.
  • Case management: Track student progress, document sessions, and coordinate with teachers/staff.
  • Resource referrals: Connect families to community, academic, or mental health services.

• • • Active School Social Worker (#071) certification from the Connecticut State Department of Education.
    • Active clinical license (LMSW or LCSW) through the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH)
    • Professional liability insurance
    • Comfort and experience with tele-practice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting
    • A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace
    • Strong remote-collaboration skills. You'll be a full partner to classroom teachers, case managers, and families even without being in the building
    • Authorization to work in the United States

This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
