Position Summary: 

The Asset Management Intern will support the Portfolio Manager and asset management team in executing both portfolio management and operational initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience with financial reporting, capital expenditure management, investor relations, property performance analysis, and strategic planning for property improvements. The intern will assist with data aggregation, market analysis, and reporting processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of portfolio operations while gaining exposure to the day-to-day management and strategic decision-making within a real estate portfolio.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

The intern will assist the portfolio manager in their normal tasks/processes, including but not limited to:



Portfolio Management Projects:

  • Preparing, updating and maintaining financial reporting and projections.
  • Capx request management and organization.
  • Updating and maintaining investor portal.
  • Touring properties to plan for strategic improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Operational Projects

  • Market rent analysis.
  • Property management data aggregation and analysis.
  • Improve key data reporting.
