Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedSAP SuccessFactors Consultant with deep expertise inCompensation & Benefits (Comp) and strong working knowledge ofEmployee Central (EC). The ideal candidate will support end‑to‑end compensation planning cycles, benefits administration, configuration, operational excellence, and cross‑module alignment. This role also involves contributing to EC configuration, release management, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compensation & Benefits (Primary Area)

• Lead configuration and administration ofCompensation Management, including:
  • Compensation templates (salary, bonus, stock)
  • Eligibility rules, guidelines, and budgets
  • Compensation worksheets and approval workflows
  • Proration, merit matrices, and modeling
• SupportBenefits configuration including enrollment workflows, eligibility rules, and plan setup.
• Partner with HR Compensation teams to manage annual compensation cycles, mid‑cycle changes, and exceptions.
• Troubleshoot compensation-related issues and ensure accurate data flow to Employee Central and Payroll.
• Ensure compliance with compensation policies, audit requirements, and local/global regulations.

2. Employee Central (EC) Contribution

• Support EC processes such as:
  • Foundation objects
  • Business rules and workflows
  • Employment information updates
  • Data models and event derivations
• Assist with EC troubleshooting, validations, and data corrections.
• Support release management, regression testing, and new feature adoption.

3. Reporting & Analytics

• Build and enhance reports related to Compensation, Benefits, and EC using:
  • Story Reports
  • Advanced Reporting / ORD
  • Canvas Reports
• Provide insights and dashboards for HR, Total Rewards, and Finance teams.

4. AMS Support & Operations

• Handle L2/L3 support tickets related to Compensation & Benefits and EC modules.
• Conduct root cause analysis, propose solutions, and implement fixes.
• Manage change requests, enhancements, and system optimization.
• Coordinate with integration teams for data flow between:
  • EC ⟷ Compensation
  • EC ⟷ Payroll
  • EC ⟷ Third-party benefits providers

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to HR, Total Rewards, and People Operations teams.
• Lead requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and UAT sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR Ops, Payroll, Finance, vendors).
• Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

6. Compliance, Audits & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure data privacy, compliance, and consistency across compensation and benefits processes.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
