Senior Accountant with focus on Financial Accounting (m/f/d)

You will independently manage the financial and general ledger accounting for our Group- including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable - in close coordination with the team
You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and compile them independently—including consolidation entries for the entire corporate group
You will process payroll for multiple countries, handle provisions, accruals, fixed asset accounting, and day-to-day payment transactions
You will be responsible for the monthly advance sales tax return as well as the quarterly summary report
You will serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax advisors—and oversee tax audits as well as the preparation of tax returns
You will work closely with the Controlling team on monthly investor reporting and contribute to process and system optimizations
You will maintain and further develop our Accounting Manual and serve as a technical point of contact for the Junior Accountant

You have completed a business apprenticeship with a focus on accounting—ideally as a tax clerk—and have received further training to become a financial accountant (m/f/d). In addition, you have several years of experience in accounting
You have several years of practical experience in financial accounting—you have independently performed journal entries, prepared individual financial statements, and gained initial exposure to consolidated financial statements
You have a solid understanding of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and are familiar with sales tax law - knowledge of IFRS is a welcome plus
You are proficient in using DATEV and MS Office; experience with a CPM/FP&A tool such as Lucanet, Tagetik, or Anaplan is a plus
You work independently and in a structured manner, have high standards for quality, and enjoy actively helping to shape a modern finance department
You are fluent in German and English—both written and spoken
