We’re looking for a Workplace Operation Specialist to join the Employee Experience team and take ownership of one of the most critical aspects in today's realities of hybrid work patterns: managing workspace allocation.

This role blends data-driven, space planning, and high-level stakeholder engagement. You will work at the intersection of people, operations, and facilities, helping to make informed decisions that directly impact experience and collaboration of employees.

This is currently a temporary 6-8 month position with the option of extension.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize seating allocation across the organization to balance business needs and space limitations.
  • Collect and analyze data on attendance trends, workspace utilization, and room types to guide decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the Facilities Manager to stay ahead of renovations, space changes, and building projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for space-related requests from executives and department leaders.
  • Present recommendations and solutions to senior stakeholders, influencing outcomes and ensuring alignment with company policy and goals.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve space utilization, efficiency, and employee experience.

 

Desired Background:

  • 1+ years of experience in human resources, employee services, or a related role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset, resilience, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with tact.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and negotiate with senior leaders.
  • Prior exposure to workplace operations, facilities, or resource allocation is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in explaining data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioural Science or a related field - an advantage
