Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Check Point is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer

•  Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality ABAP solutions across SD, Logistics, and Finance modules, while providing ongoing production support throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborating closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Developing enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and custom applications in accordance with SAP development standards and best practices
• Performing code reviews and contributing to the overall quality, maintainability, and performance of SAP solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, including debugging and performance optimization
• Supporting integrations and custom developments while ensuring system stability and maintainability
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and technical innovation within the SAP landscape

 

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with strong expertise in SD, Logistics, and Finance modules
• Strong knowledge of SAP core business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procurement, and Finance
• Proven experience developing complex ABAP solutions, including enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, conversions, and integrations
• Solid skills in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP applications
• Experience working in global environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with SAP development best practices, transport management, and quality assurance processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development technologies such as CDS Views, OData Services, and modern ABAP development methodologies – an advantage
• Significant advantage: Proven experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration and transformation projects, including Brownfield conversions, ATC analysis and remediation, custom code adaptation, simplification item handling, and alignment with S/4HANA development best practices
