Role Overview:
As a PLM Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be a key driver in the sales process, responsible for communicating and demonstrating the business value of the Centric PLM solution. You will partner closely with Sales to influence customer decisions, differentiate Centric in competitive situations, and position our solution as the preferred choice.Â
This role extends beyond product demonstrations—you will help customers envision how PLM can transform their operations. By connecting solution capabilities to measurable business outcomes, you will play a direct role in winning deals and enabling long-term customer success. Â
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Solution Design & ConsultingÂ
Lead product demonstrations that align with customer workflows, data, and strategic objectives Â
Conduct engaging discovery calls to identify customer challenges and opportunities
Analyze customer business processes, systems, and organizational context Â
Translate customer requirements into compelling solution narratives and user stories Â
Identify gaps and propose scalable, value-driven solutions Â
Document discovery findings, scope decisions, and opportunity artifactsÂ
Create demo scripts, tailored datasets, and presentation decks
Configure and personalize PLM to reflect best practice use casesÂ
Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to deal strategy and positioning Â
Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, assumptions, and services estimates Â
Build ROI models to quantify business impact/ value proposition Â
Contribute to marketing initiatives including events, webinars, and presentationsÂ
Develop internal training materials and deliver training sessionsÂ
Participate in product updates: translate, document, and communicate relevant changes into new business processes/ use casesÂ
Conduct IT architecture and HW&SW requirement discussions, including hosting options
Stakeholder EngagementÂ
Deliver high-impact, C-level presentations focused on business outcomes Â
Facilitate “Art of the Possible” sessions to expand deal scope and vision Â
Drive alignment across business and technical stakeholders Â
Elevate deal value through strategic thinking and solution positioning Â
Cross-Functional CollaborationÂ
Partner with cross function business unit presales teams to deliver E2E strategies, demos & use cases Â
Partner with Product Management to provide market and customer feedback Â
Support Marketing initiatives (webinars, thought leadership, demos)Â Â
Contribute to post-sales activities when needed to ensure continuity and success Â
The Successful Candidate Profile:
Core CompetenciesÂ
Strong business process understanding across PLM, Planning, ERP, or Supply Chain
Deep expertise in R&D processes in Food and Beverage or Cosmetics or Private Label Management at Grocery retail
Proven ability to map business process to software capabilities Â
Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills Â
Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving ability Â
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth environment Â
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative Â
Ability to manage complex customer engagements with minimal supervision Â
Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally if necessaryÂ
ExperienceÂ
Experience working across product development, structural packaging, artwork design and regulatory compliance.
Strong domain expertise with Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) including - Grocery Retail, Food & Beverage or Cosmetics.
Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or enterprise software delivery Â
Practical background in using PLM or adjacent enterprise systems strongly preferred Â
Demonstration and solution configuration experience preferred Â
Technical Skills are a plus: AI Experience, XML programming, HTML, JavaScript, Databases (Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle)
