Job Details

• Dedicated semi-local reefer position based inGilroy, CA
• Operate throughoutCalifornia and Washington
• Haul fresh and frozen products in refrigerated trailers
• Run from the distribution center in Gilroy, CA, to the UNFI distribution center in Ridgefield, WA
• Complete approximately2 round trips per week between Gilroy and Ridgefield
• May cover routes to other distribution centers as needed
• Combination of drop-and-hook and customer live load/unload freight
• 100% no-touch freight
• Average approximately2,873 miles per week
• Drivers may be required to support other JBI/DCS accounts as needed
• Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start times between11:00 AM and 2:00 PM
• Average13-hour workdays
• Average2-3 overnight layovers per week
• Holiday work may be required

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum3 months of truck driving experience
• No SAP drivers
• Must be willing and able to chain as weather conditions require
• Must be willing to support other JBI/DCS accounts when needed
• Must meet all DOT, company, and account-specific hiring requirements
• Safe driving record required
