As a Business Analyst at CBO, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects that truly meet our clients’ needs. Your work will involve understanding business challenges, analysing processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You’ll transform client requirements into actionable strategies that drive technology, process, and organisational change.
Responsibilities:
- Direction setting for Business Analysis engagements
- Strategy analysis to evaluate business needs and identify challenges or opportunities.
- Structured requirements gathering and development of system specifications.
- Documentation, optimisation, and automation of business processes.
- Test management and involvement in the software development lifecycle.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are particularly interested in Business Analysts with:
- Hands-on experience with technology implementations and delivering business-critical solutions.
- Experience in financial services, including regulatory change, client onboarding (KYC), payments, or risk and compliance.
- A positive, solutions-focused mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a desire for varied, meaningful work.
Complementing this, you should have at least 2 years relevant experience. A professional qualification in the discipline of business analysis is desirable, but not essential.
Whilst this recruitment is looking for Guernsey based Business Analysts, we continue to be open to discussions with permanently based Jersey residents to work from our Jersey office.

We provide all of our employees with the highest quality equipment and support, for use in our modern offices in St Peter Port (Guernsey) or St Helier (Jersey), when working on client site, and when working from home. Travel outside of the Channel Islands may be required, but is unlikely to be frequent.
