Pool Bar is seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Attendant who is ready to step into a leadership role. As our new Food & Beverage Team Leader, you’ll work alongside the management team to support the day-to-day operations of this lively, fast-paced venue while mentoring and developing fellow team members.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, creating memorable guest experiences and building the leadership skills needed to progress into future supervisory and management roles within Hamilton Island.

Your Role

As Food & Beverage Team Leader, you’ll help coordinate daily Pool Bar operations while remaining hands-on with service. You’ll coach team members, support management and help ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient and engaging service.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Lead the team by example during service
• Support daily bar operations and service coordination
• Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and consistently
• Coach and mentor Food & Beverage Attendants
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members
• Resolve guest enquiries professionally and confidently
• Support opening, closing and operational procedures
• Maintain high service standards and venue presentation
• Ensure RSA, food safety and WHS compliance
• Foster a positive, energetic and supportive team culture

What we’re looking for

• Strong bar and beverage service experience
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• An energetic and hands-on approach to service
• Confidence supporting and motivating a team
• Passion for mentoring and developing others
• A desire to take the next step towards management
• RSA Certificate (Essential)
