About the Role
We are looking for an experiencedMobile Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting a portfolio of sites acrossGreater London and the South East.
This is a mobile role working across a mix ofcommercial offices and residential properties, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across electrical and associated building services.
You’ll take ownership of your sites and workload while being supported by the wider engineering and operational team. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys variety, working across different environments and building strong relationships with clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems and equipment.
Attend reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
Undertake electrical fault finding and remedial works.
Carry out minor electrical installations and associated works where required.
Support the maintenance of wider building services systems as appropriate.
Identify defects and additional works, escalating or reporting these where necessary.
Complete all maintenance records, job updates and reports accurately.
Use CAFM and other company systems to manage jobs and provide updates.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures and statutory requirements.
Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach when working on client sites.
Work effectively both independently and alongside the wider engineering team.
Participate in the1-in-8 call-out rota, with aÂŁ200 standby payment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a strong electrical maintenance background, ideally gained withinfacilities management, building services or commercial property.
You’ll need:
NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline, or equivalent
Apprenticeship-trained electrical background or equivalent experience
Around5 years' relevant electrical maintenance experience
Experience of both PPM and reactive maintenance
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of electrical systems within commercial buildings
Awareness ofACOP L8 / Legionella control
Confidence using IT systems includingCAFM, email and electronic reporting
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Full UK driving licence
Call-Out
The role participates in an engineering call-out rota of approximately1 week in every 8 weeks.
AÂŁ200 standby payment is paid for the call-out week, in addition to the standard package.
