Senior Post Producer

We are looking for a Senior Post Producer with the operational skill and steady judgment to deliver every project on time and on budget while holding craft to the highest level, even when time and budget are working against it.

This role is the operational backbone of the post-production department, owning schedules, staffing, budgets, and workflows from editorial kickoff through final delivery. You will work directly with editors, producers, finishing artists, and creative leadership on one side, and with clients on the other, and you will be trusted to keep both groups confident that the work is on track. The strongest candidates for this role have earned that kind of trust before: clients who ask for them by name, and teams who want to be staffed on their projects. 

You do not need to be the most senior technical expert in the building but you should be highly organized. You need enough working knowledge of post-production tools and processes to plan realistically, staff correctly, catch problems early, and speak credibly to both internal teams and clients about what a project needs.

WhatYou'll Own

Post-production leadership: Oversee projects from editorial kickoff through final delivery.

Staffingandresourcemanagement:Ownstaffingandresourcingforthedepartment.Buildand maintain a strong network of freelance editors, assistant editors, motion designers, colorists, and finishing artists, and know who is right for which project based on creative need, timeline, and budget. Forecast staffing needs ahead of time rather than reacting to gaps.

Clientandstakeholderrelationships:Serveasatrustedday-to-daycontactforclientsthroughout the post-production process.

Financial management:Build and manage project budgets, estimates, reconciliations, and forecasts.

Contract negotiation and oversight:Own the negotiation of post-production contracts and freelanceagreements,ensuringtermsprotectthedepartmentoncost,usagerights,anddelivery obligations while keeping timelines and working relationships intact.

Workflow and process.Bring a highly organized approach to all stages of post production, ingestiontodeliveryworkflows,withasolidworkingunderstandingofeach.

Experience

●8+yearsofpost-productionproducingormanagement/mentorshipexperiencewithinan agency, production company, network, studio, or brand environment.

●Highlyorganized,withaprovenabilitytorunmultiplesimultaneousprojects,budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups at once, without losing track of any of them.

●Arealfreelancenetworkalreadyinplace:editors,motiondesigners,colorists,andfinishing artists you can call on with confidence.

●Working knowledge of post-production tools and platforms, sufficient to plan, staff, and troubleshooteffectively:AdobeCreativeCloud(PremierePro,AfterEffects,MediaEncoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition), LucidLink,Frame.io, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AI-enabled creative and production tools.

●Workingunderstandingofmediamanagement,offline-to-onlineworkflows,colorpipelines, and audio post, enough to speak credibly about all of them even where you rely on specialists for execution.

●Strongfinancialfundamentals,withrealexperiencebuildingandowningproject budgets.

●Experiencenegotiatingvendor,freelance,orproductioncontracts,withaneyeforprotecting cost, usage rights, and delivery terms.

●Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.

Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from: $115,000– $130,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
