Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SeniorSenior BI/DW Developer with 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization. The candidate will be responsible for developing Power BI dashboards and reports, integrating data from multiple sources, and supporting enterprise data solutions usingMicrosoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather business requirements and convert them into effective analytical solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop data models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Create optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows, and Notebooks.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, Excel files, and cloud applications.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data refresh or connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and user guides.
• Support deployment, testing, and post-production maintenance of BI solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and data analytics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Good experience with Azure Data Factory and data pipeline development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Ability to analyze complex data and present meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, or Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines, gateways, and workspace administration.
• Understanding of row-level security and Power BI governance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Microsoft certifications such asPL-300, DP-600, or DP-203.

Experience

• Minimum5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI, data analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and enterprise reporting environments will be an advantage.
