About the opportunity

As theSenior Digital Learning & Capability Specialist, you will lead the design and delivery of engaging learning solutions that support the successful adoption of new frameworks, processes and technologies across the Academic Excellence Program. You will work closely with subject matter experts, change leaders and program stakeholders to translate complex concepts into practical, accessible and impactful learning experiences for academic and professional staff. You will oversee the development of digital learning solutions and capability-building resources, including online modules, videos, workshop materials and quick reference guides, helping to drive organisational readiness and capability uplift across the University.

You will partner with stakeholders across the University to identify capability needs, facilitate learning activities and continuously improve learning outcomes through evaluation and feedback.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• design and develop digital learning solutions, including eLearning modules, videos, workshop content, quick reference guides and other learning resources
• apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging learning and capability solutions for diverse audiences
• translate complex policies, frameworks, processes and system changes into clear, accessible and practical learning experiences
• conduct learning needs analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability priorities and learning requirements
• facilitate workshops, webinars and training activities while supporting organisational change and adoption initiatives
• evaluate, maintain and continuously improve learning materials to ensure quality, accessibility and effectiveness

About you

• tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
• demonstrated experience in learning and development, organisational development and change-related initiatives
• strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles and educational technologies
• proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate learning solutions across online and face-to-face environments
• extensive stakeholder engagement, facilitation and consultation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• experience managing complex projects and stakeholder groups while delivering high-quality capability outcomes

• Please provide a written response (maximum 300 words) describing a time when you designed or delivered learning resources for a diverse group of internal stakeholders.
• Please provide a portfolio of three examples that demonstrate your experience designing and developing learning solutions (eg: eLearning modules, storyboards, workshops/facilitator guides, or quick reference guides). Include a brief description of your role in creating each asset and any relevant context regarding audience, aims or outcomes. Where confidentiality requirements apply, redacted or anonymised examples are acceptable.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
