You have finished your Bachelor’s or Master degree or are about to and are looking for an interesting job that suits you? Take the opportunity to become part of our successful Trade Finance Operations team in Amsterdam!

Your tasks:

During your Trainee program you will be well educated and prepared for your function as Trade Service Specialist.

During the Trainee program you will

• Support and be a part of the Trade Finance Operations (TFO) Team in the trade finance activities, ensuring a smooth process for our clients from start to finish and work in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.
• Get to know the product suite of Trade Finance and support our clients who are acting globally
• Take care of the related documents handling
• Learn how to process domestic and international guarantees and the handling of the documentary trade finance product suite
• Gather insight and knowledge about our customer base and their needs and translate it into the best possible way to support them operationally
• Participate in junior events to get the possibility to network with other Trainees within the bank and to participate in training measures

At the end of the program, you will:

• Be a professional and service-oriented advisor for corporate clients
• Have excellent knowledge of the bank´s organization and translate it into a value add for our clients
• Work together in strong collaboration with other stakeholders
• Have developed a strong understanding of Trade Finance products, structures, and processes, enabling you to support clients effectively in their international business activities

Your profile:

• You have completed or about to complete your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics/finance/other relevant disciplines or you have completed a commercial apprenticeship (‘Ausbildung’).
• Pleasure in dealing with customers and colleagues
• Curious nature, strong organizational skills
• Great team player and willingness to work in an international environment
• Proficiency in MS Office pack
• Preferably Dutch or German mother tongue speaker and fluent in English
