- Pay / Salary: $75,000β$95,000 / Year (USD), depending on experience

Job Summary

The company is seeking a strategicBuyer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys negotiating, solving supply chain challenges, and building supplier relationships. The core responsibilities of this role will be ensuring manufacturing operations have the materials, components, and services needed to build world-class firearms. The Buyer will be a key role in helping build out the strategic side of procurement. The ideal candidate will have experience developing strategy around category management. Any experience managing RFPs, bidding, and identifying cost savings is highly preferred.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience working as a buyer, category manager, or procurement.
- Experience purchasing manufactured components, metals, tooling, or industrial products.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in firearms, aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
- APICS/ASCM ISM, or other procurement certifications are a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Required Experience
- 3 years of experience working as a buyer, category manager, or procurement.
