Lead Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team as aLead Business Analyst focused on Regulatory Reporting. This role involves supporting non-financial regulatory reporting initiatives such as EMIR, while delivering consulting expertise in root cause analysis, solution architecture, and governance across various global regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build project governance frameworks that align with current delivery methodologies
• Organize working groups and management forums when necessary
• Investigate reporting issues through root cause analysis and propose tactical or strategic fixes
• Translate approved solutions into formal business requirements for stakeholder approval
• Establish requirements for back-reporting of affected trade populations as needed
• Transfer finalized requirements to technology and operations teams for implementation
• Develop solution design documentation alongside operations and engineering teams
• Assist with user acceptance testing prior to production deployment
• Confirm that implemented solutions satisfy business requirements and address root issues
• Deliver weekly progress updates to the governance team
• Report on project status and RAID items, including escalation paths, via OpCo and SteerCo forums

Requirements

• 10-14 years of combined IT experience with a solid foundation in business analysis
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements, including BRD and FRD creation
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration abilities
• Experience with regulatory reporting spanning OTC and ETD products
• Familiarity with US regulatory frameworks including CFTC and SEC
• Understanding of EMEA regulatory regimes such as MIFID, MiFIR, SFTR, EMIR, and MMSR
• Exposure to APAC regulatory bodies including MAS, ASIC, HKMA, and JFSA
