EHS Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE: Lead EHS activities at the Bac Ninh site and support other sites when needed, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese regulations, Sika Group EHS Minimum Requirements, and ISO 14001/45001. Lead local EHS initiatives and represent the site in Regional and Corporate EHS engagements. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Implement and maintain the local EHS Plan, policies, objectives and targets in alignment with Sika Group and Regional standards; monitor legal changes and ensure compliance with applicable EHS licenses, permits and regulatory requirements. 

• Manage operational EHS activities, including inspections, Safety Walks/Talks, EHS tours, BBS, 6S audits, hazard identification and risk assessment, EHS KPI/data reporting, Permit-to-Work, chemical safety, contractor EHS supervision, and site EHS campaigns. 

• Coordinate internal/external audits and inspections, follow up CAPA, investigate incidents and near-misses, and support site emergency preparedness, resources and response scenarios. 

• Deliver EHS induction and refresher training, coordinate legally required/job-specific training, evaluate training effectiveness, maintain the training matrix, and lead Safety Committee/site EHS communication. 

• Maintain EHS records, reports and legal documentation; submit required reports to authorities and Regional/Corporate teams; liaise with authorities, fire departments and other external stakeholders. 

• Manage and monitor site Security Guards for compliance with safety and security protocols; support administrative tasks when necessary and perform other EHS-related duties assigned by the EHS & Admin Manager and/or Financial Controller. 

• Comply with all laws and Sika regulations, processes, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) minimum requirements. Adhere to occupational safety and hygiene measures as outlined in the workplace. Uphold all agreements on occupational safety and hygiene stipulated in the Labor Contract or collective bargaining agreement 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Education background: Bachelor's degree in Environment, Safety, or a related field. 

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 

• Skills: Knowledge of ISO 14001/45001, EHS legal requirements (including EIA, chemical safety and fire protection), EHS KPI tracking and incident analysis; strong communication, reporting, incident investigation, risk assessment and coordination skills; English at intermediate level or higher; reliable, detail-oriented and proactive.
