- Responsible for development and implementation of the Environmental (ISO14001) and Health & Safety (ISO45001) Management System, policies, processes, and prevention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and all related agency communication
- Provide site level representation with third parties, including neighboring businesses, local councils, and regulatory bodies including OSHA and the environment agencies
- Establish EHS objectives, goals, strategies, and key performance indicators in conjunction with affected business groups
- Develop and manage the EHS team, including the Emergency Response Team (ERT)

Minimum Qualifications |
 - 7+ years’ experience managing EHS programs, including people management experience
 - EHS experience in chemically intensive manufacturing industry
 - Experience in environmental management, permit and regulatory compliance including Air, Water and Waste
 - Technical experience in occupational health and safety with a strong emphasis in chemical safety/compatibility
 - Ability to apply EHS and regulatory knowledge to business decisions, including the development of implementation plans for applicable requirements
 - Strong ability to negotiate and manage people, equipment, and process changes relative to EHS
 - Ability to build, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives with a focus on measurable results
 - Strong computer literacy including Microsoft suite (excel, word, power-point)
