Chat Moderator (Portuguese Speaking) - Part-time

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic and confident Portuguese speaker to help bring our bingo rooms to life.

As a Chat Moderator, you’ll be at the heart of the player experience — welcoming customers, starting conversations, creating a fun atmosphere and helping make our rooms feel active, social and entertaining.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas beyond the chat rooms, including Portuguese-language social media and marketing content.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage players, helping create a fun, friendly and positive atmosphere.
• Keep the rooms active through live conversation, chat games, promotions, jackpots and other activity.
• Represent the brand in a natural, professional and engaging way.
• Answer general questions and know when something needs to be passed to Customer Support or another team.
• Share useful player feedback, ideas and trends with the wider team.
• Help us find new ways to make the bingo experience more social and entertaining.
• Where appropriate, take part in Portuguese-language social media and marketing content, including informal or UGC-style formats.
• Support other reasonable duties and activities related to the role, player engagement and wider business needs as required from time to time.

Skills and Experience

• Fluent Portuguese, with strong written communication, spelling and grammar.
• Good level of English for communication with the wider team.
• Comfortable chatting with people and managing live conversations online.
• Confident using everyday digital tools, chat platforms and email.
• Customer service, community, moderation, entertainment, bingo or gaming experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Interest in online entertainment, digital communities or social media is an advantage.
• Confidence creating social media content or appearing on camera is desirable.

Other Information

This is a part-time role based in Malta, working approximately 20 hours per week on a flexible rota.

Availability will be required mainly during evenings, late nights and weekends, with working patterns adapted to player activity, campaigns, jackpots and wider business requirements.

Additional hours may be offered by prior agreement depending on business needs.

As part of the wider brand ambassador element of the role, employees may occasionally be asked to participate in approved social media, promotional or marketing content. Any applicable image, voice and content usage rights will be addressed through the relevant employment documentation.
