SUMMARY
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst Senior supports the HR organization to ensure that business & systems requirements and priorities are defined and documented. Assists the HR organization in the production of HRIS business solutions. The Senior Analyst works with business units,operations and other stakeholders to gather information requirementsutilizing a variety of techniques such as interviews, work sessions,storyboarding and prototyping. The Senior Analyst will evaluate customer needs/issues,assist in evaluating alternatives, and determineappropriate solutions with technical staff. The Senior Analyst provides input for the training team on how solutions will work to ensureaccurate creation of training materials. Participates in project management activities asrequired.Assist with change management issuesregarding requirements and User Acceptance Testing. Ensures ongoing Human Resource systems are secure,reliable and working as expected.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serves as a HR system administrator and works with the appropriateSME’s to collect and organize requirements from their functional areas for system configurations.
Hands-on experience managing business processes, working with EIB, Report Writer, Creating Workday CalculatedFields and Custom Reports.
Good understanding of business process and experience in Implementation Projects.
Provides support for new HR systems implementation efforts byparticipating in the overall implementation project and working directly with project team members to ensure project is driven totimely completion.
Works with the appropriateSME’s to collect, organize, and deliver data to 3rd Party Implementers for configuration.
Assists with development andsupports testing events for new implementations and system upgrades.
Develops and produces standardized global HR analytics and reporting on a monthly, quarterly,annual and ad hoc basis, asrequired.
Reviews departmental processes/systems on a periodic basis toidentify opportunities for process improvement and streamlined administration.
Assists with hands-on configuration that includes all basic report types and business processes.
Remains abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the administration of general HR functions.
Maintains current, detailed knowledge of all Company plans, programs, and benefits as they relate to HR and payroll.
Performs special projects and assignments as required by management. Including, but not limited to, the implementation of a new system, addition of a major system module, process harmonization, onboarding a new population onto an existing system orremoval through asystem retirement.
Develops andmaintains administrative procedures relative to the functions of this position.
Recommend plans for continued process improvements, systemenhancements and new applications to support business strategies and operational needs.
Good Problem solving, Client Interaction, Training and Team building skills.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experiencerequired, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Criticalthinker; with exceptional ability to model business processes andidentify and resolve gaps.
Understandbusiness architecture framework (Structure, people, processes, and technology) that supports the organization’s strategy.
Responsive, fast-paced decision-making skills with the ability to drive business results
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Project Management experience desired
Expert knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC), including some experience in implementing HR software applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong working knowledge in MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employeeis occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds,frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usuallymoderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may berequired in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel up to 10% including air travel or auto travel.
