Key Accountability:

• Develop dashboards as per business requirements, manage the enhancement and access requests
• Develop scripts to update the database with the necessary data requirements
• Perform testing and validation activities before deployment of the reports and dashboards to production environment as per the deployment schedule
• Gather requirements from the functional teams and communicate to other business systems owners (e.g., Business Objects, Hyperion Planning and management) for the data requirements/ mappings/data authenticity or corrections
• Create clean and efficient documentation to capture the data model and calculations
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across geographically dispersed, multi-cultural teams
• Be part of the different core teams to work on different challenging/interesting projects based on the priorities.
• Collaborate with fellow team members on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation
• Write and document clean, efficient, functional code together with unit tests.

Preferred Skills:

• 4+ years of professional work experience in the data analytics and visualization
• Expert on BI Tools, preferably Spotfire. Exposure to other tools like Power BI, Tableau etc. would be a bonus
• Strong SQL Expertise – experienced in at least one relational database: MS SQL, My SQL, Postgre SQL. Exposure to Amazon redshift would be good to have
