Brief Summary of RoleÂ
This is a hands-on service role for experienced, licensed insurance professionals who are comfortable handling property policies and customer requests independently.Â
You’ll be part of a structured service team responsible for:Â
Processing endorsements and policy changesÂ
Handling billing and renewal questionsÂ
Communicating clearly with customers and carriersÂ
Maintaining accurate documentation in SalesforceÂ
This role is ideal for someone who:Â
Has solid insurance servicing experienceÂ
Works well within defined processesÂ
Is comfortable managing a steady flow of cases and callsÂ
Takes pride in accuracy and responsivenessÂ
You won’t be managing a book of business or responsible for sales quotas — this is a service-focused role where execution, consistency, and professionalism matter.Â
What You'll Do (responsibilities):Â
Â
Resolve customer insurance requests via Salesforce cases, phone calls, and internal workflowsÂ
Service property policies (coverage changes, renewals, endorsements, billing questions, etc.)Â
Deliver high-quality customer experiences — especially in complex or time-sensitive situationsÂ
Partner directly with carrier partners and referral sources to advocate for clientsÂ
Maintain strong documentation and data accuracy within SalesforceÂ
Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvementsÂ
Operate with accountability and autonomy in a fully remote environmentÂ
What We’re Looking ForÂ
4+ years working in the insurance industry (homeowners/property experience strongly preferred)Â
2+ years in a customer-facing service roleÂ
Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required before starting — non-negotiable)Â
You’ll Stand Out If You HaveÂ
Experience servicing HO3, DP3, or landlord policiesÂ
Experience working in an MGA, agency, or carrier environmentÂ
Strong understanding of endorsements and coverage structureÂ
Spanish fluency (preferred but not required)Â
Â
What Makes You Successful HereÂ
You can prioritize and manage multiple service requests without losing accuracyÂ
You understand that details matter — especially in property insuranceÂ
You’re comfortable making decisions without constant directionÂ
You communicate clearly and professionally — even in challenging conversationsÂ
You’re tech-savvy (Salesforce experience is a plus)Â
You enjoy improving processes instead of just following themÂ
Why Insurance Professionals Choose ObieÂ
Fully remote work environmentÂ
