In this role, you will provide individualized career planning, job development, placement, and retention services. KeyResponsibilities:

·Assistclientswithindividualizedcareerplanning,vocationalcounseling,andemploymentpreparationbasedontheirstrengths,interests,abilities,andgoals.

·Developemploymentopportunitiesbybuildingandmaintainingstrongrelationshipswithlocalemployersandcommunitypartners.

·Supportclientswithjobplacement,onboarding,retention,andlong-termworkplacesuccess.

·Teachandreinforceeffectivejob-seeking,interviewing,workplace,andjob-retentionskills.

·Advocateforclientswithemployers,familymembers,referralsources,schools,andotherstakeholders.

·Educateemployersonthebenefitsofhiringindividualswithdisabilitiesandfacilitateworkplaceaccommodationswhenneeded.

·Conductclientorientationsandprovideinformationregardingservices,rights,responsibilities,anddisclosurepractices.

·Participateinplanningmeetingsandcollaboratewithinterdisciplinaryteamstosupportclientemploymentgoals.

·Assistclientswithbenefitsplanningandemployment-relateddecision-makingregardingwages,hours,andcareeradvancement.

·Promoteservicesthroughcommunityoutreach,presentations,networkingactivities,andawarenessevents.

·Maintainregularcommunicationwithreferralsourcesandprovideupdatesregardingclientprogress,placements,andretentionoutcomes.

·Respondtoworkplacechallengesorcrisesandprovideappropriatesupporttoclientsandemployers.

·Travelthroughoutthecommunitytoconductjobdevelopmentactivities,provideemploymentsupports,andtransportclientsasneeded.

·Completerequireddocumentationandmaintaincompliancewithconfidentiality,contractual,andCARFstandards.

·PerformotherdutiesasassignedbyLeadership.

Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:

·Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.

·Associate'sdegreeorBachelor'sdegreeinarelatedfieldfromanaccreditedinstitutionpreferred.

·Minimumofone(1)yearofexperienceprovidingemploymentservicespreferred.

·Knowledgeofsupportingindividualswithdisabilitiesand/orbarrierstoemployment,education,orindependentliving.

·Knowledgeofcasemanagement,rehabilitationmethods,principles,andtechniques.

·Understandingofmentalhealthandsubstanceusedisordersandavailablecommunityresources.

·Knowledgeoftreatmentmodalities,legalrequirements,andproceduresrelatedtobehavioralhealthservices.

·ProficiencywithMicrosoftWord,Excel,internet-basedplatforms,andotherelectronicsystems.

·Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills

AdditionalQualifications:

·Currentvaliddriver'slicenserequired.

·Acceptabledrivingrecordrequired.

·Currentautomobileinsurancerequired.

·Successfulcompletionofcriminalbackground,drivingrecord,abuse/neglect,andfingerprintscreeningsrequired.

·Strongcustomerservice,interpersonal,andrelationship-buildingskills.

·Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecollaboratingeffectivelywithclients,employers,referralsources,andteammembers.

·Abilitytoevaluateservicesandprovideconstructiveinputregardingprogrameffectiveness.

·Mustprovideevidenceofbeingfreefrominfectiousandcontagiousdiseases,includingTB,priortoemploymentandannuallythereafterasrequired.

PhysicalRequirements

·Performsedentaryworkinvolvingexertionofupto10poundsofforceoccasionallyandnegligibleforcefrequentlytolift,carry,push,pull,ormoveobjects.
