General Labor & Sanitation Operators – Cold Storage

Location: Bedford Park, IL 60638
Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hour

We are hiring dependableGeneral Labor and Sanitation Operators for a busy food processing and packaging facility in Bedford Park. These are hands-on positions in acold-storage environment handling chicken, beef, and shrimp.

Candidates must be comfortable working in cold temperatures, wearing required protective clothing, and performing physically demanding work.Overtime is required.

Available Positions

General Labor

• Pay: $18.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Pack and prepare meat products for shipment
• Perform general production and packaging duties
• Inspect, organize, and move packaged products
• Follow food safety and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform repetitive standing, bending, reaching, and lifting

Sanitation Operator

• Pay: $19.00/hour
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM–approximately 11:00 PM
• Clean and sanitize Boxing and Tempering Rooms after production
• Remove fluids, food residue, and other material from production areas
• Clean floors, equipment, racks, and other surfaces
• Follow sanitation and food safety procedures
• Use required cleaning and safety equipment
• May use a Cherry Picker or Reach Truck to clean elevated areas
• May be required to wear a fall-protection harness for elevated cleaning

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
• Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures
• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Must be willing to work required overtime
• Must follow all safety and food-handling procedures
• Must be dependable and committed to completing the assigned project
