Job Summary:
To provide high standard of social work for users out of the councils duties and powers under legislation and accordance with divisional and area policy, procedures, guidelines and the Code of Care practice for social workers.
To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team team providing professional social work supporting adults with mental health problems in the framework of seven social care outcomes including:
- Improved health and emotional well beingĀ
- Improved quality of life
- Making a positive contributionĀ
- Exercising choice and controlĀ
- Maintaining personal dignityĀ
- Economic well being and freedomĀ
- Freedom from discrimination
Candidate Profile:
- CandidatesĀ must have an Enhanced DBSregistered onĀ the update service
- Candidates must be registered with HCPC
- Candidates must have completed training in SafeguardingVulnerableĀ Adults
- Must have at least 2 years experience as a Qualified Social Worker
- Must have experience in working with mental health, vulnerable adults and challenging behaviour
- ExcellentĀ understanding in legislation, policiesĀ and proceduresĀ
- Ability to establish strong working relationshipsĀ
