Brake Press Team Lead – Dakota Bodies (Watertown, SD)

Full-Time | Hourly 

Are you an experienced press brake operator ready to step into a leadership role? Dakota Bodies in Watertown is hiring aBrake Press Team Lead. This is a hands-on working lead position: you'll keep running parts while helping guide the team, train operators, and keep production on track.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form steel, stainless, and aluminum parts
• Read blueprints and determine tooling and bend sequences
• Assign daily work and keep the brake press area running on schedule
• Train and support operators on setups, safety, and quality
• Check parts for accuracy and fix problems at the source
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of press brake experience
• Ability to do your own setups and hold tight tolerances
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and a good communicator
• Lead or training experience and CNC programming are a plus
