We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Deployment Support Specialist to assist with the rollout of a new Oracle POS environment and pin pad deployment across retail store locations during a three-month implementation period from August through October. This role will serve as a key coordination point between the Store Systems team, deployment partners, and store associates to ensure successful nightly deployments andÂ
validation activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Participate in and help lead nightly deployment coordination calls with the Store Systems team and supporting vendors/partners.
⢠Coordinate and monitor nightly deployment activities to ensure a minimum of four (4) store deployments are completed each evening.
⢠Communicate directly with store associates and management regardingÂ
deployment schedules, delivery expectations, testing procedures, and postinstallation validation.
⢠Track deployment progress and document successful Oracle POS and pin pad installations.
⢠Assist stores during deployment testing and confirm system functionality following upgrades.
⢠Escalate technical issues, deployment delays, or operational concerns to the appropriate support teams.
⢠Maintain accurate deployment logs, issue tracking, and status reporting.
⢠Collaborate with Store Systems, Infrastructure, Help Desk, and field support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
⢠Provide clear and professional communication during high-volume deployment periods.
⢠Support deployment readiness activities including scheduling, documentation review, and follow-up communication.
Required Qualifications
⢠Previous experience supporting retail technology deployments, POS systems, or store operations.
⢠Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple store deployments simultaneously.
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
⢠Ability to work evening/night schedules to support overnight deployment activities.
⢠Comfortable interacting with store associates, managers, and technical support teams.
⢠Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
⢠Strong attention to detail and ability to follow deployment procedures accurately.
⢠Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
⢠Experience with Oracle POS systems or retail payment devices/pin pads.
⢠Previous experience in retail IT support, implementation coordination, or field deployment projects.
⢠Familiarity with ticketing systems and deployment tracking tools.
⢠Basic understanding of network connectivity and payment processing hardware.
