THE JOB  

The Facilities team handles event set up, break down, and overall physical safety of Leader Bank Pavilion. This role works closely with ourFacilities Manager to ensure everything is set up andready to welcome our guests at each concert and event. Facilities team members will also support the winterization and de-winterization of our seasonal venue. Theyare responsible for performing multiple tasks throughout the season to support the event/venue, including but not limited to set-up, breakdown, and as-needed repairs throughout the venue facilities.   

This is a seasonal position from April to October, working 20 to40 hours per week. Hours will include standard business hours as well as event shifts. Shifts may start as early as 6:00-7:00am.  

Evening shifts may go as late as 1:00am. On non-event days, hours may vary but will typically take place during the daytime.   

This position pays $20/hour. 

 

WHATTHIS ROLE WILL DO  

  • Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including our business partners and artists, in a professional way  

  • Adapt to the varying needs of our diverse artists and audiences  

  • Set up venue furniture and signage for concerts and private events; adapt todifferent needs depending on the client or artist and other factors,i.e. weather  

  • Assist with ongoing maintenance needs, including repairing chairs, painting, and other maintenance projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager  

  • Keep work areas neat and orderly   

  • Assist withmaintaining venue gardens. Water plants and complete light landscaping.  

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to help perform duties as needed  

  • Comply with safety regulations andmaintain clean and orderly work areas  

  • Provide guest service by greeting andassisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints. Maintain working knowledge of guest services programs and service recovery practices.  

  • Responsible formaintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue; uphold venue policies and escalate concerns toappropriate members of the management teamin a timely manner  

  • Work closely with other departments to keep facility running smoothly and safely  

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed 

  • All non-union staff working to the end of a concert will berequired to help in the post-concert venue clean-up process (commonly referred to as the Post-Show Pick).

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING  

  • High school diploma or equivalent experiencerequired 
     

  • Must be at least 18 years of age 

  • Background in maintenance preferred; ability to use hand tools preferred  

  • Reliable transportation to and from work during late night and early morning hours. Shifts may be outside of public transportation hours.   

  • Ability tolift up to 30 pounds, move and set up furniture, bend over, and remain standing forlong periods of time  

  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  

  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate andestablish strong working relationships with internal and external partners  

  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment•Proficiency in English  

  • Action-oriented and results-driven individual

The expected compensation for this position is:

$16.0 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
