Subproject leader mechanical design

Your tasks:

► Coordinate mechanical development for control units (PS-SC, PS-TC and XC-CE products) until SOP in international development projects, focused on die cast, sheet metal, plastic (incl. connectors) and PCB parts

► Leading of international project team (design, reliability, simulation, HW, purchasing, customer, production technology, layout, sample shop, series preparation)

► Plan and track project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring delivery according to quality, cost and timing targets

► Manage project risks, changes and regularly report project status to management and internal customer

► Organize technical reviews and collaborate closely with domain experts. Coordination of technical topics with customers, Bosch departments and production sites in international environment

► Support root cause analysis, risk estimation and implementation of corrective actions

► Negotiate technical topics with customers and represent project-related technical aspects

► Support supplier-related technical discussions and coordinate technical interfaces

► Ensure proper project documentation according to current Bosch quality directives and methodologies

► Use and improvement of development methods according to Bosch rules and customer requirements 

► University or technical college degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field

► Experience in project management

► Familiar with different technologies (aluminium die cast, plastics, sheet metal, PCB)

► Strong analytical mindset with structured and precise working style

► Strong communications and negotiation skills

► Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

► Target-, quality- and process oriented

► Flexible, team player

► Ability to make decisions, ready to take responsibility
