SMT Process Development Engineer (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:

• Evaluate and releasematerials and components for assembly and interconnection technologies
• Drivenew material qualification and process development
• Assessmaterial compatibility and process interactions
• Ensureprocess validation and industrialization across all CM division plants
• Collaborate with development teams andmaterial suppliers in technical discussions
• Definedesign rules for layout and process requirements
• Specify and standardizeprocess parameters and guidelines

What distinguishes you:

Education:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable field

Experience:

• Experience inSMT manufacturing or semiconductor industry (ideally 3+ years)
• Background inSMT-related materials (e.g., coatings, solder paste, PCB) is a plus

Know-how:

• Familiarity withIPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001) and component standards (e.g., AEC-Q100)
• Experience withstatistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
• Good knowledge ofIT tools (Office, CAD)

Languages:

• Good English skills (written and spoken)

Working Style and Methods:

• Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, able to work insimultaneous engineering environments

Personality:

• Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset
