About the Role
ETAS India is looking for adynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive strategic growth across key customers in the automotive and embedded software domain. This role is critical in managing end-to-end sales, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering business value through innovative solutions in a fast-evolving mobility landscape.
Your Mission
As a Key Account Manager, you will act as theprimary customer interface, owning the full acquisition lifecycle—from opportunity identification to successful project handover—while ensuring long-term customer success and sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Acquisition Management
- Driveend-to-end sales and acquisition activities within assigned key accounts, including contract renewals, extensions, pricing, and standard product sales
- Develop and execute arobust acquisition and pricing strategy aligned with ETAS sales frameworks
- Identify and securenew business opportunities across OEMs and Tier customers
2. Customer & Market Intelligence
- Build adeep understanding of customer needs, use cases, and technology challenges
- Analyzemarket trends, competitor landscape, and customer requirements to position ETAS offerings effectively
3. Solutioning & Value Proposition
- Collaborate withregional and global solution teams to define and deliver compelling value propositions
- Drivego-to-market strategies for new solutions, including India-specific business models
- Align offerings with customer expectations and future mobility trends
4. Commercial Management & Negotiation
- Prepare and releasecustomer quotations in compliance with ETAS sales processes and governance
- Leadcommercial negotiations to achieve approved targets and "bottom-line" goals
- Ensure adherence to internal business frameworks and approval processes
5. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate withcross-functional stakeholders (solution teams, project managers, finance, sales controlling, etc.)
- Drivecollaboration across global and regional teams for successful deal execution
6. Project Handover & Lifecycle Management
- Ensuresmooth transition of acquired projects to delivery teams with proper documentation
- Act as astable customer interface throughout the product lifecycle, fostering long-term partnerships
7. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain transparency acrosssales KPIs, revenue, and P&L performance
- Drivebusiness planning, forecasting, and acquisition reporting
- Monitor and reviewcommercial KPIs regularly
What You Bring
- Proven experience inB2B sales, preferably withinautomotive, embedded systems, or software domains
- Strong understanding ofOEM and Tier-1 business landscapes
- Demonstrated success incomplex deal negotiation and closure
- Strongcustomer-centric approach with relationship management skills
- Ability tounderstand and articulate technical solutions
- Excellentcommunication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience inbusiness planning, forecasting, and CRM tools
