Main deliverable (samples & series):

Mature processes, process chain, mature MAE & tools concepts, running line in time until QGC5

Generate requirements and contribute to the product concept & design towards industrialization compatibility to enable the achievement of the overall cost targets (target PPC)

Ā Know how of the different assembly processes for a power electronics like SMT, THT, PCB milling, dispensing of chemicals, laser cleaning, plasma treatment, pressing, screwing, EoL tests ets is necessary

Ā Responsible for Design Element reliability including validation content related to RB manufacturing processes Review & release design together w/ Sub PJM MECH

Check & evaluate customer requirements (manufacturing related) Develop and optimize the design for manufacturing as long as functionality is given or still acceptable by customer

Leading DfM sub-team of project – assure deliverables of industrialization Requests timely BOM delivery from integration and release meeting, brings in Power Center standard modules and components (samples & series product)

Responsible for manufacturing relevant aspects of samples (e.g. quality of AIT, learning for series and design etc.)) – not ordering & volume planning

Use and contribute to design for manufacturing modular kit for reduced variance in design & processes Target: cost-effective and easily realizable adaption and/or reuse of lines for new variants

Common steering (together with Sub PJM MECH) of Lead designer from manufacturing point of view
