To keep pace with our growing software complexity, we are transforming testing through our vision of “One Big Virtual Device Farm” - a global, cloud-like platform that gives teams seamless access to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments. By combining on-premises systems with cloud-native technologies, we enable scalable, automated, and always-available test environments that accelerate development and ensure reliable releases.

As aCloud Platform Engineer, you will design and build the cloud backbone of our global test infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling seamless interaction between distributed device farms and cloud systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance across regions.

Your contribution to something big: 

• Cloud Architecture & Hybrid Infrastructure: Design and operate a hybrid architecture connecting on-premises device farms withAWS cloud services, ensuring secure and low-latency communication.
• Global Orchestration: Develop orchestration strategies for test workloads across geographically distributed environments, enabling efficient scheduling and lifecycle management.
• Kubernetes & Workload Management: Deploy, manage, and scaleKubernetes clusters to orchestrate microservices and test execution workloads across multiple regions.
• Infrastructure as Code: Provision and manage infrastructure usingTerraform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reproducibility.
• Security & Identity Management: Implement secure access and communication usingOIDC, AWS IAM, and HashiCorp Vault.
• DevOps Integration: Build and maintainPython-based CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized workloads usingDocker.
• Data & Persistence Layer: Manage and optimizePostgreSQL and MySQL databases to support test results, device metadata, and system state.

What distinguishes you:

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• Experience inCloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles, with a strong focus on cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Know how

• Strong hands-on experience withAWS services and Kubernetes
• Experience withInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Knowledge ofAnsible or similar configuration management tools
• Solid understanding ofcloud architecture and hybrid environments
• Experience withPostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Familiarity withOIDC, AWS IAM, and secrets management (e.g., Vault)
• StrongPython skills for automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience withDocker and containerized environments

Languages

• Fluent inEnglish (written and spoken)
