About the RoleÂ
We are looking for an experienced gasoline function calibration engineer to lead and support engineering activities across the product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on base calibration, drivability and emission work packages.Â
In this role, you will work closely with OEM customers, project teams, and cross-functional engineering stakeholders and support successful project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Execute calibration work packages as per project agreement Â
Calibration and validation of vehicle functions for all vehicle/engine segments Â
Support calibration project managers for process adherenceÂ
Component Management, Vehicle and Test Track scheduling / organizing & trackingÂ
Coordination with internal cross-functional teams and customer.Â
Review calibration development reports for work-packages responsibleÂ
Calibration review with calibration functional expertsÂ
Field data analysis and report creation Â
Calibration data and status update in ICDM & VCDMÂ
Support for calibration efficiency improvements and innovationÂ
Calibration automation and tools development   Â
Preparing necessary test set up for calibration activities on the Engine/vehicle Â
Calibration, Validation & Field support at customer location.Â
Expedition trials at extreme locations for (Summer, Winter, Altitude etc)Â
Strict adherence to compliance requirementsÂ

What We’re Looking ForÂ
6 to 10 years of relevant work experienceÂ
Experienced in calibration development projectsÂ
Excellent knowledge of powertrain systems (gasoline /CNG) and sub-systems Â
Basic understanding of Engine management systems, overview of sensors and actuatorsÂ
Good knowledge of developing engine management systems and testing techniquesÂ
Basic understanding of calibration process for Vehicle functions and Data set handling, Emission, After Treatment & OBDÂ Â
Ability to use model-based calibration tools e.g. Inca, Uniplot, Cameo, ASCMO, AVL Puma, etc.Â
Experienced user of analytical software tools to handle large volumes of data.Â
Ability to understand, interpret and evaluate numerical dataÂ
Knowledge of Modelling and Simulation techniques.Â
Knowledge in hybrid vehicle powertrain.Â
Basic knowledge on internal combustion engineÂ
Sound understanding of gasoline powertrain processes Â
Knowledge and experience INCA and ETAS tools.Â
Complete work in a safe, timely and professional manner with the minimum of supervisionÂ
Flexibility to undertake additional tasks to meet business requirementsÂ
Highly motivated, keen to learn and share knowledge. High attention to detailÂ
Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsÂ
Excellent communication skills. Pro-active and enterprising approach to work in time constrained environmentÂ
