Freelance / Contract Social Media Data & Insights Analyst - New York

Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week. We operate a Fix + Flex model, with Wednesdays and Thursdays as our two Fix Days, when everyone is in the office, and the third day is Flex for you - either Monday, Tuesday, or Friday.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting social analytics delivery across key client accounts as needs arise

  • Contributing to reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly), ensuring outputs are accurate, insightful, and aligned to social KPIs

  • Delivering deep-dive analysis across social channels, identifying trends, patterns, and performance drivers

  • Turning platform data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations

  • Building, maintaining, and refining dashboards (e.g. Datorama, Tableau or similar) where required

  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and best-practice reporting across all outputs

  • Working across platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, and others

  • Collaborating with Strategy, Media, and Client teams to inform ongoing social activity

  • Supporting campaign reporting, audits, and performance reviews


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in social media analytics, insights, or performance roles

  • Strong understanding of social platforms, metrics, and reporting frameworks

  • Hands-on experience with dashboarding and reporting tools (Datorama, Tableau, or similar)

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into meaningful, actionable insights

  • Familiarity with social listening or management tools (e.g. Sprinklr or similar)

  • Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and delivery

  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across teams

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
