UX Researcher II Job Description
Under general supervision, conduct research efforts and develop clear stories from insights that support partner and team alignment on user-focused goals. This includes collaborating with UX designers, product owners, product managers, and engineers to discover opportunities for future products and validate designs for product optimization.Â
In this role as a UX Researcher II, you will be responsible for:
- Design, plan, and execute end-to-end research studies using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies with guidance from senior team membersÂ
- Conduct and synthesize research projects including user interviews, usability testing sessions, surveys, card sorting, and contribute to A/B testing initiativesÂ
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to cross-functional teams with a compelling, influential story. Â
- Analyze insights from research sessions to identify key opportunities and user needsÂ
- Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with peers and managersÂ
- Monitor and analyze user behavior metrics and usability benchmarks with support from senior researchersÂ
- Support the evaluation and optimization of research methodologies to improve quality and efficiency of insightsÂ
- Assist with research operations including participant recruitment, scheduling, and research repository maintenanceÂ
Qualifications
For this role as a UX Researcher II, you should have:
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Cognitive Science or related fieldÂ
- 3-5 years of experience in UX Research or equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
- Proficiency in qualitative research methods including interviews, contextual inquiry and observational studiesÂ
- Working knowledge of quantitative research methods including survey design and basic statistical analysisÂ
- Familiarity with mixed-methods research approachesÂ
- Experience with evaluative research including usability testing and heuristic evaluationÂ
- Exposure to generative and exploratory research techniquesÂ
- Ability to execute research protocols and discussion guidesÂ
- Experience with participant recruitment and screeningÂ
- Understanding of research ethics and informed consent practicesÂ
- Experience conducting research with diverse user groupsÂ

Salary Range:The base range for this position is $82,200.00 - $113,100.00. This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.Â
