Step into a career where your expertise truly matters. As aCoding Solutions Specialist atBCBSWY, you’ll join an incredible team of sharp, collaborative professionals dedicated to keeping our medical policy coding, system programming, and appeals processes running with accuracy, efficiency, and innovation.

In this dynamic role, you’ll take the lead on reviewing, researching, and implementing system updates based on claims, reimbursement guidelines, medical policies, and other key resources. Your work ensures that determinations on medical claims and authorizations are not just correct—but confidently backed by data and thoughtful analysis.

Success here means bringing yourcritical thinking, your ability to partner with both clinical and non‑clinical teammates, and your talent for clear, effective communication. You’ll also flex your tech skills as you learn and navigate a variety of software tools that support our coding and review processes.

We’re looking for someone with an Associate's degree or equivalent, and whileBlue Cross Blue Shield experience is a big plus, we also value backgrounds indata analytics,appeals, orclaims processing. Leadership, mentoring, or team‑lead experience will help you shine even brighter.

Our compensation program is reviewed for competitive market match on an annual basis and employees are eligible for annual merit increases. Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Depending on the department and the position, eligible employees may be offered limited In-Office/WFH flexibility(for those positions that are offered limited WFH, there will be arequired number of In-Office days per week/month depending on department).Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.
