About the role:
The TBM Product Owneris responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering Technology Business Management capabilities usingApptioOne andCloudability platforms. This role serves as the critical bridge between Finance, Technology, FinOps, and Engineering teams to drive cost transparency, unit cost accountability, and optimization insights across the organization. The Product Owner is accountable for maximizing the business value of TBM data, models, and reporting by aligning platform capabilities with enterprise financial and operational objectives.Â
What you'll do:
Define and own the TBM product vision, aligned to enterprise financial transparency and cost optimization objectivesÂ
Drive roadmap development for ApptioOne (TBM) andCloudability (FinOps) capabilitiesÂ
Translate TBM taxonomy and financial frameworks into product features and use cases
Partner with Finance and IT leadership to align TBM outcomes to business strategy and define success metrics
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve TBM productivity, efficiency, and scalabilityÂ
Manage the TBM product backlog, ensuring prioritization is based on business value and financial impactÂ
Create and refine user stories, support Agile delivery via sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product demosÂ
Accept delivered features based on defined acceptance criteria and financial accuracyÂ
Define requirements for TBM data ingestionÂ
Ensure integrity and traceability of cost allocation modelsÂ
Drive continuous improvement of allocation logic and financial model accuracyÂ
Partner with data engineering teams to enable automation and scalabilityÂ
Act as the liaison betweenFinance,IT, Engineering,Cloud FinOps, andBusiness stakeholders and facilitate conversations on cost drivers, allocation methodologies, and financial insightsÂ
Lead governance forums for TBM data definitions, taxonomy alignment, and reporting standardsÂ
Deliver actionable insights to support decision-making and financial accountabilityÂ
Continuously refine TBM capabilities based on feedback and evolving business needsÂ
What we'll want you to have:
8+ years ofexperience in Product Ownership, TBM, FinOps, or IT Financial ManagementÂ
Hands-on experience withApptioOne (TBM) and/or IBM CloudabilityÂ
Strong understanding ofTBM taxonomy, cost allocation methodologies, and/orIT financial data structuresÂ
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery modelsÂ
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or automation to drive productivity and efficiency in TBM/FinOps processes,Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, or ERP systems Â
Ability to deliver work that meets all standards of quality, security, and operability.Â
Experience with enterprise data platforms, automation, or AI-enabled analyticsÂ
TBM Council Certification,FinOps Certified Practitioner preferred

The starting base pay is $87,700.00 to $114,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
