Our Earth Observation Data Infrastructure (EODI) automates how satellite and drone imagery is captured, processed, and delivered across commercial and sovereign constellations, allowing organisations to move from satellite tasking to actionable intelligence in minutes. We work with commercial, defence, intelligence and government customers globally, delivering highly technical data engineering and geospatial products across multi-tenant SaaS, private cloud, and onāprem environments. This is real infrastructure, built for critical operations. Your code will literally connect satellite sensors to decisionāmakers responding to realāworld events.
The challenge
Youāll be working inside a fastāmoving environment where geospatial data, satellite tasking, and groundātoācloud workflows converge. The user interfaces you build are the front line of how operators, scientists, and governments interact with our systems. Every element you implement needs to handle realāworld complexity gracefully, be accessible, scalable, and performant under pressure. Youāll collaborate with the engineering team, product team and founders to design solutions that meet customer needs. The opportunity
Weāre hiring an experienced FrontāEnd Developer to take ownership of the next generation of Arlulaās front end stack. Youāll be responsible for maintaining and expanding our serverāside rendered UI pipeline. This is the foundation for multiple hypermediaābased applications that control and monitor Earth observation satellite operations. Working closely with engineers, scientists, and product teams, youāll shape how users experience critical data and tools across commercial and sovereign deployments.

āWhat youāll deliver
First 6 months
Maintain, update, and extend core web interfaces to ensure usability, accuracy, and reliability for customers.
Lead implementation of new features using serverāside rendering and modular templating frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve user interface issues, supporting customer deployments in live environments.
Work sideābyāside with engineering and product peers to refine UX and accessibility standards.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal bestāpractice guides for frontāend engineering.
6ā24 months
Redesign and uplift major user interface components for improved clarity, performance, and extensibility.
Drive adoption of accessibility (WCAG) and usability best practices across the full product suite.
Help shape the evolution of the UI pipeline as we scale to more complex, multiātenant deployments.
Contribute to roadmap discussions around how our interfaces integrate across Arlulaās infrastructure and customer systems.
What you bring
Essential
5+ years building and maintaining scalable, productionāgrade web applications.
Deep proficiency with core frontāend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Handsāon experience with multiāpage, serverārendered architectures (no reliance on client frameworks).
Strong understanding of vanilla JavaScript and serverāside templating systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines in a fastāmoving technical environment.
Highly regarded
Experience with Go (Golang), especially its html template library for serverāside rendering.
Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Familiarity with webāmapping technologies and geospatial UI design challenges.
Understanding of geospatial data formats and conventions (GeoJSON, WMS, etc.).
Prior exposure to Earth observation, remote sensing, or spatial analytics products.
