Billing Specialist, Home Health Opportunity Description

Our client is a well-established and growing Home Health organization. They are looking to add aBilling Specialist with New York Medicaid/Medicare experience based out of theBrooklyn, NYarea. This is an on-site position.

Billing Specialist, Home Health Requirements

Minimum 2 years of home health billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
Experience billing Medicaid, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or other insurance payers.
Knowledge of claim processing, denials management, and billing software systems.

Billing Specialist, Home Health Responsibilities

Submit and follow up on Medicaid and home health insurance claims for timely payment.
Research, correct, and resolve claim denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate billing records and work accounts receivable to collect outstanding balances.
