Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with advanced data engineering tools and techniques, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Experience developing Ab Initio graphs, plans, workflows, and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT, data integration, and data transformation.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data pipelines.
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data quality, reconciliation, validation, and error handling.
• Experience with data modeling, source-to-target mapping, and data migration activities.
• Experience with CI/CD, release management, and production deployments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust ETL/data integration pipelines using Ab Initio.
• Develop and optimize Ab Initio graphs, plans, components, and workflows for large-scale data processing.
• Build data ingestion and transformation solutions from multiple sources including databases, APIs, flat files, and enterprise applications.
• Analyze existing data pipelines and identify opportunities for performance and process improvements.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Support deployment of Ab Initio applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, mappings, workflows, and operational processes.
