The Senior Credit Strategy Analyst will be a critical member of the Credit team andwill be responsible for using a combination of data and credit experience to optimize credit strategies for personal loans. Responsibilities includemaximizingUnderwriting andLoan amount decisions across acquisition channels, driving strategy improvement and innovation, monitoring of Champion/Challenger data while maintaining investor returns.

Duties & Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for monitoring, refining and developing Credit strategies (including underwriting and loan amount) for personal loans
- Create test/control champion/challenger tests and monitoring to inform future strategies
- Provide scenario analysis/create financial impact sizing/develop new strategy test case
- Perform ad-hoc analytics, create reporting and presentations
- Work across functional areas to drive overall growth, product enhancements, and improve web funnel conversion rates across all channels.
- Partner with Decision Science to define and develop Credit models and tools
- Maintain overall risk and return targets for investors particularly in a changing economic environment
Requirements-Development
- 5+ years experience in a similar analytical role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, other quantitative major required; Master’s degree a plus
- Experience in financial industry, credit risk required; online lending, near-prime, sub-prime is a plus
- Must be proficient in Python or similar, SQL, and MS Excel
- Must be proficient in interpreting data using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques
- Previous experience with Business Intelligence reporting (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc) is desirable
- Excellent English written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Highly independent and self-motivated to forming opinions that are supported by data.
- Strong knowledge of modeling tools and techniques and use in strategy
- Ability to understand competitive pressure, economic trends and their business impacts.
- High Energy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
