The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in supporting BESIX’s growth and operational success across the African region by ensuring the organization attracts, engages, and hires the right talent in a competitive and diverse market. The role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing market intelligence, talent insights, and recruitment expertise that enable informed hiring decisions and workforce planning.
What You’ll Drive
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across the Africa region.
- Act as a Talent Acquisition Partner to hiring managers, providing market insights, hiring advice, and recruitment strategies tailored to African markets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs across the Africa region.
- Proactively source candidates using multiple channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and local talent platforms.
- Screen, shortlist, and interview candidates, and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Attend and support interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
- Serve as a BESIX ambassador in the talent market, promoting the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities across Africa.
- Continuously enhance hiring manager and candidate experience through efficient, transparent, and agile recruitment practices.
- Contribute to and support employer branding initiatives, career fairs, university partnerships, and talent attraction activities across the African region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local recruitment partners, educational institutions, and industry networks to support hiring objectives across Africa.
- Monitor recruitment market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks across key African countries to support informed hiring decisions.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within construction, engineering, or large corporate environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
- Highly proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong sourcing expertise and ability to build talent pipelines in competitive markets
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and agile environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local labor laws and nationalisation programs is a strong advantage
- Willingness to work from the office on full time basis
